Processor and Memory Platform

The AMD AM5 socket and AMD X870E platform support AMD Ryzen 7000, 8000 and 9000 Series processors.

Memory support is specified as 4 x DDR5 DIMM slots, up to 256GB, with high-speed overclocking support. The final supported speed and capacity depend on the processor, memory kit and BIOS configuration.

Power Delivery and Cooling

The board uses 14+2+2 phase digital VRM to supply the processor and platform components. Heatsinks and fan controls support cooling across a suitable completed build.
