Support & Troubleshooting

Most PC hiccups are software/driver related. This page gives you fast, friendly fixes you can try at home. If you’re stuck, we’ll always try to help — but remember our warranty covers hardware, and we have no control over third-party software, drivers, or games.

Quick Checks (fix 80% of issues)

  • Restart the PC and your game/launcher. Then try again.
  • Fully power down (shut down), switch the PSU off for 30 seconds, then power up.
  • Check cables: monitor on the graphics card (not motherboard), both ends seated.
  • Remove any recent USB dongles/hubs and test again.
  • Roll back a recent Windows or GPU driver update (see guides below).
  • Verify/repair game files in Steam/Epic/EA.
  • Check temps (Guide below) — high temps can cause throttling/crashes.

Tip: If an issue started right after an update/driver/install, undo that change first.

Windows won’t boot / stuck on spinning dots / “Undoing changes”

Enter Recovery Mode

Method A — Automatic

  • Power on, as soon as you see spinning dots, hold the power button to force off.
  • Repeat this 3 times. On the next boot Windows should enter Automatic RepairAdvanced options.

Method B — From install USB

  • Boot from a Windows 10/11 USB → Repair your computerTroubleshootAdvanced options.
Uninstall the last update (keeps your files)
  • TroubleshootAdvanced optionsUninstall Updates.
  • Try Latest Quality Update first, then Feature Update if needed.
System Restore / Startup Repair
  • TroubleshootAdvanced optionsSystem Restore → choose a restore point before the issue.
  • Or run Startup Repair from Advanced options.
Command Prompt fixes (SFC/DISM/CHKDSK)

Open Advanced optionsCommand Prompt and run:

sfc /scannow
DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
chkdsk C: /f /r

Note: CHKDSK will schedule on reboot; can take a while.

Clean-install GPU drivers (fixes most game crashes)

Option 1 — Standard clean install (NVIDIA/AMD/Intel)
  • Download the latest driver from NVIDIA/AMD/Intel.
  • Uninstall current driver via Apps & Features.
  • Run the installer → choose Clean Install/Factory Reset if shown.
  • Reboot and test your game.
Option 2 — DDU method (deep clean)
  1. Download DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) and the new GPU driver.
  2. Boot to Safe Mode:
    • Win + R → msconfigBoot tab → tick Safe boot (Minimal) → Apply → Restart.
  3. Run DDU → select GPU vendor → Clean and restart.
  4. Back in normal Windows, install the new driver → reboot.
  5. Open msconfig again to untick “Safe boot” if needed and reboot.

Disable overlays (Discord, GeForce Experience, MSI Afterburner/RivaTuner) when testing stability.

Game won’t launch or keeps crashing

Quick fixes
  • Verify game files in your launcher (Steam/Epic/EA/Battle.net).
  • Update GPU drivers (see section above).
  • Disable overlays (Discord, Steam, GeForce Experience, RivaTuner).
  • Temporarily disable third-party antivirus; add the game folder to exclusions.
  • Run the game as Administrator once.
Stutter or low FPS after an update
  • Roll back the GPU driver to the previous stable version.
  • Reset in-game settings to default; turn off Frame Generation/RT as a test.
  • Use High Performance power plan (Win + X → Power Options).

Storage problems

New drive doesn’t show in Windows
  1. Win + X → Disk Management.
  2. If prompted, choose GPT and initialise the disk.
  3. Right-click the new disk space → New Simple Volume → assign a letter → format NTFS.
Why does my 1TB drive show ~931GB?

Manufacturers use decimal (1 TB = 1,000,000,000,000 bytes). Windows reports binary (1 TiB = 1,099,511,627,776 bytes). 1 TB decimal ≈ 0.91 TiB binary → ~931 GB shown. This is normal.

“Scanning and repairing drive” every boot

Run a full check, then SFC/DISM:

chkdsk C: /f /r
sfc /scannow
DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

No display / “No signal”

  • Plug the monitor into the graphics card (HDMI/DP), not the motherboard.
  • Check the monitor input source matches the cable used.
  • For DP, reseat the cable firmly; try HDMI as a test.
  • Reseat the GPU (power off, PSU switch off, reseat, reconnect PCIe power).
  • Try a different cable/port/monitor if possible.

High temperatures / Fan noise

Check temperatures
  • Install a monitoring tool (e.g., HWInfo/LibreHardwareMonitor) and check CPU/GPU temps at idle and under load.
  • Ensure front intakes aren’t blocked; remove dust filters and clean gently.
  • Make sure all fans spin and are connected to the right headers (CPU_FAN, SYS_FAN).
All-in-One (AIO) cooler basics
  • USB display/telemetry on some AIOs uses the USB 2.0 internal header. If the screen isn’t working but temps are fine, check the USB 2.0 header/cable.
  • Ensure the pump is powered (usually AIO_PUMP or CPU_FAN header) and set to 100%/DC or manufacturer-recommended mode.

RGB not syncing / wrong connector

  • ARGB (addressable) is 3-pin, 5V. RGB is 4-pin, 12V. These are not compatible.
  • Proprietary daisy-chain fans often need their own controller to change colours.
  • If your motherboard has no 5V ARGB header, use the case’s included controller and the LED/cycle button.

USB / Wi-Fi / Bluetooth missing

  • Install the latest chipset, LAN, Wi-Fi/Bluetooth drivers from the motherboard vendor.
  • Check internal USB 2.0 header connections for front-panel devices/screens.
  • Device Manager → View → Devices by connection to trace problem devices.

BIOS/UEFI basics

  • Load Optimised Defaults if you changed settings and the system is unstable.
  • Enable memory profile (XMP/DOCP/EXPO) only if rated and stable.
  • We do not support or recommend overclocking; it can cause crashes and void warranty.
