What Is Fan Control?

Fan Control is a free Windows tool that lets your PC fans respond properly to temperature. It can help keep your gaming PC cooler, quieter and more efficient by allowing fan speeds to react to what the system is actually doing.

Why We Use It

We often pre install Fan Control on Pink Parsnip PCs where the motherboard manufacturer’s own fan software is limited, unreliable or not ideal for the build.

It gives us a better way to balance cooling and noise, especially on gaming PCs with multiple case fans, AIO coolers and higher performance components.

Important To Know

Fan Control is useful, but fan settings should be changed carefully. Setting fans too low can increase temperatures, while setting them too high can make the PC louder than needed.

If your PC was supplied by Pink Parsnip Computers and Fan Control was already installed, we recommend asking us before making major changes to your fan curves or temperature settings.
