Dropping in a new processor isn't just a swap — it's a chain of steps that all have to be right for your system to run stable, cool and at full speed. Here's exactly what happens when we upgrade your CPU.
STEP 01
Flash & Update BIOS
Before anything is opened up, the motherboard's BIOS is checked and flashed to a version with confirmed support for the new CPU — the single most common cause of a failed upgrade if skipped.
STEP 02
Install New CPU
The old processor is carefully removed, the socket is inspected, and the new CPU is seated and locked in place with the correct amount of care every pin and contact deserves.
STEP 03
Thermal Paste & Cooler
A fresh, even layer of thermal paste is applied and the cooler is remounted at the correct pressure — key to keeping the new chip running cool under load rather than throttling.
STEP 04
Full System Test
The system is booted, stability and temperatures are checked under load, and clocks and voltages are confirmed correct — so it leaves the workshop proven, not just assumed working.
