RTX 5080 · Ryzen 7 9800X3D · 64GB DDR5 6000 · 4TB NVMe · Black Dual Chamber Build
The Showstopper is a top tier gaming PC that is as much a centrepiece as it is a performance machine. It is built inside the Lian Li O11 Vision Compact, a black dual chamber case with three panels of tempered glass, so every component is on show.
At the heart of it is an AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D paired with a Gigabyte RTX 5080 Gaming OC 16GB, backed by 64GB of DDR5 6000MHz memory and 4TB of fast Gen4 NVMe storage. Two Lian Li Strimer Wireless ARGB cables light up the motherboard and graphics card power connections, and a curved OLED display on the CPU cooler is joined by an 8.8 inch IPS screen for live system stats. The IPS screen sits on a custom 3D printed bracket that we design and make in house.
*Figures are third party review averages across current game libraries at Ultra and High settings for this class of CPU and graphics card. They will vary by title, resolution and settings. The Ryzen 7 9800X3D's 3D V Cache is one of the strongest gaming CPU designs available, so the RTX 5080 is never held back.
Honest, conservative scoring across our five core categories.
The Showstopper is built for gamers who want high resolution and high settings. It handles native 4K in most titles, and with DLSS 4 enabled it pushes well past 100 FPS in the majority of modern games, even with ray tracing active.
The CPU is cooled by a Lian Li Hydroshift II 360mm AIO with the radiator mounted on the right hand side of the case, exhausting out through the side. Three reverse blade fans on the bottom pull cool air straight to the graphics card, and two rear fans exhaust warm air out of the back. This keeps the 9800X3D and the RTX 5080 running comfortably under sustained gaming loads.
The curved OLED display on the CPU cooler and the 8.8 inch IPS screen can both show live system information such as temperatures, clock speeds and fan speeds, or your own images and animations, using Lian Li software. The IPS screen is held in place by a custom 3D printed bracket that we make in house.
Yes. The AM5 platform has a strong upgrade runway for future AMD processors, the 1000W Gold PSU has headroom for future graphics card upgrades, and the build already ships with 64GB of memory and 4TB of storage, so most buyers will not need to touch it for several years.
